January 1 & 2, 2011

New Years Day, usually time for special meals and spending moments with family, turned into a two hour car ride in agonizing pain from New Hampshire back to Maine, stopping at a Dunkin Donuts along the way - hash browns, a flour tortilla wrapped around a glowing yellow "egg" patty, with gelatinous orange cheese and greasy, chewy sausage. Lunch was a Cup O Noodle, and dinner was a small bowl of salad.

I don't trust most of the food in this house.

January 2, breakfast seemed to consist of Ritz crackers and white cheddar and chipotle pepper Philadelphia brand dip, with a side of coffee. Lunch was half a turkey sandwich, half a blueberry muffin, a couple bites of apple, and a cup of coffee at Panera Bread. Dinner was a half dozen beef meatballs coated in spaghetti sauce. There was another cup off coffee in there, as well as some Ritz crackers and diet cranberry soda. I'm beginning to suspect that some of my anxiety is coming from lack of food.
